North Orange County Chinese School is your go-to source for Mandarin Chinese language and culture education. Mission Statement
Our mission is to engage every single student at all levels of language proficiency, regardless of prior exposure to Mandarin Chinese. Students at the highest level will be prepared for Advanced Placement (AP) Mandarin. In addition to language skills, students will gain a deep understanding and appreciation for Chinese culture and arts.

Course Material
The textbook content is designed for Chinese as a second language teaching, centered around daily conversation that incorporates the principles of communication, culture, connection and comparison. The objective is to train students to be able to communicate in daily life and to improve their bilateral communication, performance, interpretation, and unilateral comprehension, as well as their speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cross-cultural Chinese-language skills. The lessons consist of dialogue, vocabulary words, sentence pattern exercises with songs and games for effective learning.
我們的教材內容專為漢語作為第二語言的教學而設計，以日常會話為中心，融入了溝通，文化交流及比較的原素。以培養學生日常口語繪話能力及應用為目的，加強學生聽，說，讀，寫等漢語的表達能力。課程包含對話，詞彙，句型和歌曲，有趣的教學使學習更加事半功倍。
